Jim Shore, master artist and designer of the Heartwood Creek Collection, manufactured by Enesco, began the line of Jim Shore Collectibles after a lot of hard work and dedication.

Jim Shore was raised in an artistic family, and followed quickly into thier footsteps. His Grandmother, a master quilter, taught Jim the patience and skill to bring intricate designs to life. Jim has collected quilts dating back over 150 years. He studies the designs, skill set and craftmanship of each one. Then he puts his artistic  talent to a new level, creating the Jim Shore Collectibles that instill in us the values expressed in American folk art.

With this talent, he founded his own company, Designs America.
